For these individual’s dreams of their hard work paying off by having the opportunity to compete and try to earn national and international titles, each will need to fund their own travel and accommodation fees along with competition registration fees, the cost of new mandatory equipment and uniforms. As the cost of each of these competitions along is in the region of a few hundred dollars per student, you can understand why we are asking for the support of companies and friends such as you! Without your generous donation, these students may have to see their dreams fall to the wayside.

At a time when the news is filled with stories of young people getting into trouble with drugs, alcohol, vandalism, etc, we have a group of dedicated youngsters. Youngsters who prove to us that children can rise above these bad influences and be great role models to others. It would be wonderful if, with your help, we could give these children this fantastic opportunity.

Hometown Event:

The North East Open is the only event of its kind in the Capital District as well as in upstate New York. This annual event brings together martial artists & enthusiasts of ALL styles for one big weekend of competition, demonstration and enlightenment.

Now in its third year, The North East Open is the most anticipated martial arts event in the region for 2009. While most new events take years to build a rapport, the extensive planning and community effort that went into last two years event set a standard that can now be looked forward to each and every year.

This local event is the biggest event and only hometown event for the Team. We will gladly be offering 2009 Business Sponsors of Team Pil-Sung the following:

• - A Free Advertisement in the Event Program Book, with over 1000 copies being distributed to all event attendees, of which 75% are Capital District Locals.
• - A Free Vendor Booth the day of the event to advertise your business.
